COURSE CONTENT

The course covers the following four compulsory topics:

• Supervision Guidelines and AML/CTF in Agency Practice: Understand the supervision requirements and compliance responsibilities of real estate agencies, including Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) obligations and their implications for agency operations.
• Rules of Conduct Refresher: Review the NSW Rules of Conduct applicable to residential sales agents, including professional responsibilities, ethical practices, disclosure obligations and common compliance issues.
• Contracts: Strengthen your understanding of contracts for the sale of residential property, including legislative requirements, contract preparation, disclosure obligations and common mistakes that can lead to compliance issues.
• Auction Laws & Practice: Review NSW auction laws and regulatory requirements, including auction procedures, bidder registration, vendor bids, auction conditions and the responsibilities of agents when conducting property auctions.

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION

• All participants are required to complete an assessment as part of their CPD training.
• Upon successfully completing the required training and assessment, participants will receive a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion via email.
• A copy of the CPD certificate will also be available to download through the student portal.
