As a requirement of NSW Fair Trading, Certificate of Registration holders working as Assistant Agents, must complete at least 3 units of the Real Estate Licensing Course (CPP41419 – Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice) as a minimum each year as CPD and become a Class 2 Licence holder by the end of the 4th year.
The CPD year for all Licence and Certificate holders starts on 23 March each year and ends on 22 March the following year.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have enrolled in this course after the 12th March for the 2020/2021 CPD year, we cannot guarantee the marking of your assessments and advise that the Statement of Attainment maybe dated after March 22nd 2021.
This course satisfies the annual requirement of NSW Fair Trading and has been designed for those in Real Estate Sales.
The 3 units of study include:
CPPREP4121 - Establish Landlord Relationships
CPPREP4122 - Manage Tenant Relationships
CPPREP4124 - End Tenancy
Please note that this course option includes Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). A full list of the evidence required to potentially achieve RPL can be found here. Please review this list prior to your course purchase.
Please Note: that RPL will only be granted on your experience, knowledge and evidence. You may still need to complete partial assessments to fulfil the requirements of the units of competency.
Note should you choose this pathway, you will need to do more than the 3 units required by NSW Fair Trading if you are going to meet the deadline to become a Class 2 Licence holder by the end of the 4th year.
