Major changes have been proposed by The Department of Justice and Community Safety to the educational requirements to become a Licensed Estate Agent. These changes are proposed to take place on 20th October, 2020.


What this means for you is that if you enrol into the current Real Estate Licence Course – CPP40307 – Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) prior to the 20th October you will be required to complete just 24 units of competency to become a Licensed Agent.


If you enrol after the 20th October, 2020 your workload will get a whole lot bigger. Not only will you be required to complete 22 units of competency from the new CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, but you will also need to complete 12 units of competency from a Diploma. In a nutshell, an additional 10 units of study will be required.


So NOW is the time to get enrolled! OFFER ENDS 30TH SEPTEMBER!

Whilst you can start this course at anytime, you will need to have 12 months industry experience as an Agents Representative before you can apply to the BLA to become a Licensed Estate Agent.


As part of your enrolment, you can choose whether to complete your Real Estate Licence Course with or without Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). If you choose to complete the course without RPL you will be required to complete all course units.


If you are an experienced Agents Representative and would like to be given the opportunity to demonstrate your industry skill and knowledge and can provide documentation to support this, you should choose to complete the course with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).


Following receipt of your evidence, you will undergo a competency conversation with an Assessor over the phone. This will enable our team to identify your existing competencies and deliver a training program specifically tailored to your needs. This ensures that WE ONLY TEACH YOU WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW, NOT WHAT YOU ALREADY DO!

Please note that the course MUST be completed no later than 31st August, 2021 as the course is superseded nationally on the 30th September, 2021 by CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.
