As this course is self-paced the time to complete is really up to you, however, the maximum course completion time allowed from enrolment is 3 months. Please see the Participant Handbook for further details.

 

Participants are required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test prior to enrolment. The purpose of this test is to check your readiness and suitability for the course.

Agent’s Representative Training Course Assessment

Regardless of your chosen method of study you will need to complete the required activities and assessments.

 

Our assessments are designed to substantiate your ability to apply acquired skill and knowledge to the workplace and may include a combination of the following:

 

Short answer questions * Research activities * Group activities * Role plays * Projects and case studies

 

Upon successful completion, your Statement of Attainment will be sent to you within 30 days of the program completion and this is the evidence you will need to provide to your new employer to show you have met the educational requirements.

What is the Agent’s Representative Training Course?

This course has been designed so that participants, upon successful completion, can work in a Victorian real estate office under the direct supervision of a licensee in effective control. Taking this course, is taking the first step towards your career in Real Estate in Victoria.

How do I become an Agent’s Rep in Victoria?

To be an Agents Rep. in Victoria you must hold competency in the three units of competency set down by the Victorian BLA, and those units must have been trained and assessed using materials based on Victorian law.

The three units of competency from the CPP07 Training Package are:

  • CPPDSM4080A - Work in the real estate industry,
  • CPPDSM4008A - Identify legal and ethical requirements of property sales to complete agency work,
  • CPPDSM4007A - Identify legal and ethical requirements of property management to complete agency work.

How long does the Agent’s Representative Training Course take?

The length of time it will take you to finish the course will depend on many things. Firstly, it will depend on what knowledge you have of Real Estate operations in Victoria, and secondly on how much time you set aside to read the learner’s guides and undertake the assessments.

You have up to six months to complete the course, but we have found that some participants have successfully completed the course within a week when they have set aside the time to do so.

How long do I have to complete the Agent’s Representative Training Course?

You have up to six (6) months to complete the course. If for some reason you cannot complete it in that time, you can request an extension of time to allow you submit all your assessments.

When undertaking the Agent’s Representative Training Course online, will I receive any support?

The support we offer our online students is something we are very proud of. Our trainers and assessors are Real Estate specialists that are always on hand via our messaging system or via phone when you need them. We see it as our job to get you through the course and this is one we take very seriously!

Is the online system easy to navigate?

YES. We have invested a lot of money, time and effort to make our system user friendly, plus you have full support if you should have any problems.

How much does it cost to complete the Agent’s Representative Training Course cost to complete?

The full cost of undertaking the Course online is $495.00. There are no other charges, unless you have to resubmit any assessment more than 3 times.

What if I fail an assessment?

When you undertake our course it is our responsibility to give you all the learning tools you need to that at the end of the course you are competent in all the units of competency.

Should you be found “not satisfactory” in any of your assessment tasks, our assessor will contact you and explain fully what you need to do the be found competent and so successfully finish the course. This could include further reading or training we do not fail participants. You will have up to three chances to submit an assessment. If after your third submission you still have not successfully completed the course we will discuss fully the options available to you. Your rights and responsibilities as a participant in our courses are set out in the Participant’s Handbook, which is available on our website.
