Have you just started your career in real estate?

If you have recently started working in Property Management or Sales, you may be eligible to complete your CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice through a NSW Government-subsidised traineeship.

 

The NSW Government supports eligible new entrants to the workforce by subsidising approved vocational training, helping you gain the qualifications and skills you need while continuing to work in the real estate industry.

 

Through our approved arrangement with our sister company, Real Estate Training Solutions Pty Ltd (RETS) – RTO 90897, Think Real Estate can help eligible employees and employers access real estate traineeship opportunities.

 

Could you be eligible?

You may be eligible if you:

• have recently commenced employment in real estate
• have been employed in your current Property Management or Sales role for less than 3 months
• are working in a role that supports the requirements of the traineeship
• are an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
• meet the applicable NSW Government Smart and Skilled and traineeship eligibility requirements

 

Your individual eligibility must be assessed and confirmed before enrolment.

Why consider a real estate traineeship?

If you have just entered the industry, a traineeship can be a great way to build your career from the beginning. Rather than simply completing a qualification on your own, you can undertake nationally recognised training while gaining valuable experience in the workplace.

 

Eligible trainees may receive NSW Government-subsidised training towards the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.

 

This qualification is an important step for Certificate of Registration holders progressing towards a Class 2 Real Estate Agent Licence in NSW.

Employers – have you recently hired someone new?

If you have recently employed a new team member in Property Management or Sales, they may be eligible to undertake the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice through a NSW Government-subsidised traineeship.

 

This can be a valuable way to invest in your employee from the beginning of their career while providing structured training that supports their development in the workplace.

 

If your new employee has been working with you for less than 3 months, contact us as early as possible.

 

Traineeship and funding eligibility is time-sensitive, so it is important to determine eligibility soon after employment commences.

 

How does it work?

1. Contact Think Real Estate

Speak with our team about your circumstances and the traineeship opportunity.

2. We help you understand the eligibility process

We can guide the employer and prospective trainee through the initial steps and explain what information will be required.

3. The traineeship is established

The employer and trainee complete the required Training Contract process through the appropriate apprenticeship and traineeship channels.

4. Enrolment with RETS

Once the traineeship has been approved and eligibility confirmed, the trainee is enrolled with Real Estate Training Solutions Pty Ltd (RETS) – RTO 90897 in the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.

5. Training and support

RETS is responsible for the trainee’s enrolment, training, assessment and student support throughout the qualification. Upon successful completion of all qualification requirements, RETS issues the nationally recognised qualification.

Training under this traineeship is provided by Real Estate Training Solutions Pty Ltd (RETS) – RTO 90897.

 

Think Real Estate assists with the promotion and facilitation of traineeship opportunities under its approved arrangement with Real Estate Training Solutions Pty Ltd.

 

Eligible students are enrolled with Real Estate Training Solutions Pty Ltd (RTO 90897). RETS is responsible for enrolment, training, assessment, student support and issuing the nationally recognised CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice upon successful completion.

 

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.

Smart and Skilled and traineeship eligibility criteria apply. Eligibility is assessed based on the student’s individual circumstances and the NSW Government requirements in place at the time of enrolment.

Government subsidies and training places are subject to availability and applicable program requirements. Student fees may apply and will be confirmed prior to enrolment.
