Assessment against Competencies

Applicants can achieve competence in each of the 24 LICENSING SUBJECTS in a numbers of ways:
           *   Completing training in modules that directly relate to the competencies;
           *   Recognition of prior learning and/or skills against the competency (RPL)
           *   Production of a Certificate of Competency for any of the required units issued by a Registered Training Organisation

If you chose to be assessed as competent by RPL you will need to provide evidence that meets the requirements for each of the Twenty four (24) units of competence in CPP40307.

To undertake the Course, students have several options:-

  • I If you do not have any work experience in the Real Estate industry, you will need to enroll to undertake the full course. Workshops are conducted on a weekly basis throughout the year, and their attendance, coupled with undertaking set assignments at home, is an efficient way to undertake the course.

  • If you have worked in a Real Estate office and have some experience, you may proceed by having the experience and competencies you already have, recognised by one of our assessors, and complete the rest of the course by undertaking our “Fast Track” study program.
  • If you have more than 3 years Real Estate experience then you may have many of the competencies required by subjects in the training package. If you can produce the required evidence you can have these competencies recognised under a system called Recognition of Prior Learning (Click here for information on RPL). This would mean that you would not have to undertake study in all the 24 modules and only need to complete a few modules to obtain your license.
